Keiji Ishida (b.1999) is a Japanese artist based in Los Angeles, CA.
He received his degree in Illustration Design with distinction from ArtCenter College of Design. His artistic passion derives from skateboard and streetwear culture, using text, repeated characters, and motifs that often find their way through various mediums. The process is design-oriented while revealing the imperfections and efforts of the handmade. He has collaborated with a number of commercial brands including Target, Apple, HUF Worldwide, Hightide Store DTLA, Nozbone Boutique, Airwalk Shoes, and Converse– designing apparel, decks, etc.
Keiji's work has been widely exhibited internationally in Los Angeles, New York, Japan, and Paris. Solo exhibitions include: Home is Home, Japan (2023), California Dreaming, Nozbone Boutique, Paris (2022), and Good Bye Keiji, by Keiji, GARAG3 Gallery, Los Angeles (2017).
Public projects include murals at the L+O Apartments in North Hollywood, CA, at Netflix offices in Burbank, CA, and at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
